At the Maastricht site, industrial soaps, dispersions and hard resins are produced and mainly supplied from stock. The main raw material for production are natural resins, which are supplied intercontinental. These main raw materials are modified and/or strengthened in reactors during the production process and then processed in one of the continuous installations according to specifications.
At the Maastricht site, the QESH department consists of 1 QESHE coordinator. A new position, process safety coordinator, will be added within this department. The focus of this position is mainly on process safety, procedures and training. The process safety coordinator will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all aspects within process safety. To guarantee this, the process safety coordinator will develop and maintain a process safety management system. To this end, the process safety coordinator will work closely with all departments to describe, through the necessary procedures and safety studies, the processes and ensure the safety of employees. Through these procedures, employees will be instructed/trained by the process safety coordinator.
Coordinate the entire Maastricht organisation in terms of process safety. Develop and maintain a process safety management system. Conducting process safety assessments and developing recommendations around process safety. Supervise safety studies and risk assessments. Create, improve and maintain standard production procedures for our quality management system. Using these procedures to train and instruct employees, with an extra focus on process safety. As a mentor, guiding new operators in their training programme. Organising and following up the training courses via a training matrix, so that the work can be done safely and healthily.
