As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising work and smaller projects at fixed customer sites. You will lead a team of Technicians and ensure that customer satisfaction and budget targets are met. You will report to the Operations Manager and manage approximately 5 employees.
Our client's mission is to extend plant life, minimise part replacements and increase efficiency - all crucial factors for our customers' competitiveness.
1. Development
- Support in the design and organisation of processes, procedures and practices within the department.
- Make forecasts, give input on budget and financial reports, and evaluate results.
- Manage contracts and customer relationships for assigned sites and provide support for plant upgrades.
- Advise on service development and Service Lines.
2. Operation
- Take orders from customers or through the Operations Manager, review them and escalate as necessary.
- Ensure correct preparation and timely completion of assignments.
- Monitor quality of service and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Regularly consult with customers and set out required actions.
3. Management & Organisation
- Instruct, guide and motivate employees to achieve targets.
- Organising tasks within the team and monitoring implementation.
- First point of contact for employees and advise on HR activities.
- Replacing the Operations Manager in his absence.
4. Continuous improvement
- Thinking along in plans for the department and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Participate in improvement processes and ensure process assurance.
- Support in the organisation of training sessions and customer evaluations.
5. Health & Safety
- Comply with internal and external rules and procedures related to occupational health and safety, quality and environment.
- Conduct workplace inspections and observation rounds.
Job requirements:
- HBO STEM level with broad technical knowledge and extensive experience in complex service and customer installations.
- Knowledge of leadership, safety policy and process improvements.
- Good command of the English language.
