The corporate history of Valento

Valento is the brainchild of Palmyra Veltstra (1985). This is where her roots in the construction world and over fifteen years of experience in the temporary employment sector come together. Descendant of a family of contractors and builders, Palmyra has a no-nonsense mentality. She was practically brought up on the building site. While her friends were playing with blocks, she was unconsciously laying the foundation stone for her later career as an entrepreneur.

Establishment of Valento

After her education, Palmyra started working in the temporary employment business, where she was active in almost all fields. After twelve years in paid employment, setting up her own temporary employment agency was a logical next step, in which her affinity with the construction industry, passion for the profession and "flexpertise" came together. With knowledge, decisiveness and the necessary guts, she quickly expanded Valento Jobs from a one-man operation to a company that currently employs seventeen office staff and hundreds of (international) skilled workers and professionals. All this in a time when the construction industry was not exactly flourishing.
This makes Valento an established name in the construction world.

While the number of clients and projects continues to grow steadily, the Palmyra She is in touch with the field by visiting various projects every week. Something that characterises her involvement with both employer and employee. Having been a tried and tested recruiter, it is not surprising that over the years she has gathered a team of professionals around her who are just as involved.

Limburg Businesswomen

Although she has only been an entrepreneur for a few years, she has already received several awards. Rabobank Zuid-Limburg crowned her Entrepreneur of the Year for the first quarter of 2020. UWB had already praised her for her efforts in helping people over 50 to find work. She has also twice (2016 and the lustrum edition in 2018) played a prominent role in the business glossy of Limburg Businesswomen.
