Are you an experienced construction worker who enjoys taking on responsibility, but also knows exactly how the work on a building site needs to be done? Someone who keeps an eye on the big picture, manages colleagues and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in? Then this role as a Hands-on Construction Site Supervisor would be a good fit for you.
We are looking for a hands-on and committed assistant site manager for a client in the Limburg construction sector. In this role, you will be the right-hand person on site. You will ensure that work runs smoothly, that tradespeople know what needs to be done, and that the schedule, quality and safety are properly monitored.
The great thing about this role? You’re not just standing on the sidelines. You’re out and about on the building site, helping to come up with solutions and pitching in yourself where necessary. That means you know exactly what’s going on and can react quickly if things don’t go to plan.
You’ll find yourself in an environment where craftsmanship really does count. No endless meetings, but clear communication, forward thinking and working together to ensure the job is done properly. You speak the language of the building site and know how to get people on board without making a fuss.
At Valento Jobs, we look beyond just your CV. Of course, experience is important, but we place particular emphasis on your craftsmanship, attitude and approach to work. Do you have years of experience in the construction industry and are you ready for a role with more responsibility? Or are you currently working as a foreman, lead carpenter or all-round tradesperson and would you like to progress into a site management role? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
As an assistant site manager, you’ll be working on the building site every day. You’ll keep track of everything, manage the team and ensure that the work is carried out as agreed.
Your duties will include:
No two days are the same. One day you’re coordinating tasks and monitoring progress; the next, you’re rolling up your sleeves to ensure the work keeps moving forward. It’s precisely this combination that makes this role so varied and practical.
You’re someone with experience in the construction industry. You know what goes on at a building site and, naturally, you command respect. People listen to you because you know your trade, communicate clearly and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in yourself.
We are looking for someone who:
If you don’t have all the qualifications but do have the experience and insight, we’d certainly be happy to discuss it. In the construction industry, you learn a great deal on the job, and we consider that practical expertise to be just as important as what’s on paper.
You’ll take on a role of responsibility within the construction industry, offering plenty of variety and scope for your own professional development. You’ll work on exciting projects in Limburg and the surrounding area, alongside skilled professionals who know how to get things done.
You can count on:
We make sure you know exactly where you stand. No vague promises, just clear agreements about the work, the terms and conditions, and the client.
Valento Jobs is at home in the construction industry. Every day, we work with tradespeople, clients and projects in Limburg and the surrounding area. As a result, we know what’s going on on the ground and understand what matters to people in the construction industry: good work, clear agreements and personal contact.
With us, you’re not just a number. We know our professionals by name and work with you to find roles that match your experience, preferences and future plans. Whether you’d prefer to stay on site or are looking to progress into a more managerial role, we’ll work with you to find the right path.
We believe that a good CV looks good, but that true craftsmanship only becomes apparent in practice.
When you apply to work with us, it’s your skills that count, not just your CV.
Are you the hands-on site supervisor who keeps track of everything, manages people and knows first-hand how the work needs to be done? If so, we’d love to meet you.
