Are you someone who’s good with figures, but also understands what goes on out there on the shop floor? We’re looking for a Infrastructure Calculator who can present projects clearly right from the initial enquiry. You ensure that plans, quantities, materials and costs are brought together in a clear and realistic quotation.
In this role, you’ll be a key link at the forefront of infrastructure projects. This includes work in earthworks, road construction, sewerage, paving, civil engineering and other infrastructure projects. You’ll delve into specifications, drawings and work descriptions, obtain quotes and translate everything into a realistic cost estimate. In doing so, you’ll consider not only what something costs, but also what is practically feasible.
You’ll work closely with colleagues such as work planners, site supervisors and project managers. Together, you’ll ensure that a project is properly prepared before it gets underway. Your attention to detail, technical insight and practical know-how will make all the difference here.
