Job description:As an Air Conditioning Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various air conditioning and ventilation systems. You will work on a wide range of projects, ranging from small residential installations to large-scale commercial projects. Your duties will include:
- Install and commission air conditioning and ventilation systems according to specifications and drawings.
- Performing periodic maintenance and preventive checks to ensure the proper functioning of systems.
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions and technical problems.
- Replacing defective parts and carrying out repairs.
- Provide customer-oriented service, including answering questions and providing technical advice.
- Working closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Recording work performed and preparing reports.
Profile of the candidate:
- At least a technical education at MBO level, preferably in the field of installation engineering, electrical or refrigeration engineering.
- Demonstrated experience as an aircom mechanic or similar position.
- In possession of relevant certifications, such as F-gases certificate.
- Extensive knowledge of air conditioning and ventilation systems and associated technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly diagnose faults.
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for the work performed.
- Valid driving licence B.
