Are you an experienced carpenter who is versatile and wants to deliver work you can be proud of? We are looking for All-round Carpenters for various long-term construction projects in South Limburg.

Through Valento Jobs, you can connect with excellent construction companies in Limburg. These include regional contractors, family-run businesses, medium-sized construction firms and larger construction organisations with a wide range of projects. As we have an extensive network within the construction sector, we’ll work with you to identify which workplace best suits your experience, skills and working style.

At Valento Jobs, we don’t just look at what’s on paper. Above all, we look at what you can do with your hands. Because good carpentry is characterised by experience, insight, precision and craftsmanship.

Do you work with a regular carpenter? If so, we’d love to get in touch with you both. Couples are welcome.

What will you do?

As an All-round Carpenter, you’ll be involved in a variety of construction projects. These include new builds, renovations, extensions, structural work, finishing work and maintenance. You know how to deliver your work neatly, securely and as agreed.

Your duties may vary from project to project. One day you might be working on framing, window frames, doors or staircases. The next, you might be working on roof structures, timber structures, finishing work or tasks ranging from laying the foundations right through to handover.

You’ll work to drawings, follow the schedule and liaise with colleagues, foremen or site managers on site. You’ll be given the freedom to work independently, but you won’t be on your own. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure the project is completed to a high standard and in good order.

Depending on your experience and the client, your duties may include, amongst other things:

  • Carrying out general carpentry work in both the structural and finishing stages.
  • Installation of profiles, window frames, windows and doors.
  • Fitting window frames, doors, staircases and finishing work.
  • Manufacture and installation of roof structures and timber structures.
  • Carrying out dimensioning and marking out work.
  • Working from construction drawings and technical information.
  • To be involved in new-build projects, refurbishments, extensions, alterations and maintenance.
  • Carrying out work from the foundations right through to handover.
  • Check that the work is neat, square, level and in accordance with the agreement.
  • Working alongside colleagues, foremen, site managers and other tradespeople.
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe workplace.
  • Contributing ideas for practical solutions on the building site.

So you’re not just doing any old carpentry. You ensure that the work is done properly, is structurally sound and is finished to a high standard. From the structural work to the finishing touches: your craftsmanship makes all the difference.

Who are you?

You’re a skilled tradesperson who knows how to get things done. You have experience in the construction industry, think practically and deliver work you can be proud of. You don’t need to be one for tall tales; as long as your work speaks for itself.

You work to a high standard, honour your commitments and understand how things work on a building site. You can work independently, but you also work well as part of a team. Whether your main strengths lie in structural work, finishing, renovation, formwork or general carpentry, we’ll work with you to find where your skills are best utilised.

For example, you might recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have proven experience as a carpenter.
  • You have extensive knowledge of structural work and finishing work.
  • You can read architectural drawings or are willing to learn how to do so.
  • You have experience with joinery, finishing work, window frames, doors, staircases or timber structures.
  • You work neatly, safely and as agreed.
  • You have an eye for detail, dimensions and quality.
  • You think in terms of solutions and get things done.
  • You have a Category B driving licence and your own transport.
  • You should ideally hold a VCA certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
  • You are reliable, flexible and feel at home in the construction industry.

Do you work with a regular carpenter? No problem. Couples are also welcome to apply.
