Machine operator (3-shifts).

🔧 Do you have technical insight and want to work in a modern production environment?
For a growing client in the Sittard area, we are looking for a motivated Machine operator. You will work in a 3-shift operation and be responsible for operating, setting and checking various production machines.

What will you do?

As a machine operator, you are indispensable in the production process. You ensure that the machines run optimally and that the quality of the end product is guaranteed. Your duties include:

• Independent operation and adjustment of various machines
• Carrying out quality checks during the production process
• Sampling of finished products according to established procedures
• Replacing machine parts
• Perform proper checks on scanned products and raw materials
• Identifying and resolving faults
• Replacing knives in the machines
• Keeping filters clean
• Setting up machines
• Fixing minor faults or calling in technical service for larger problems
• Keeping the workplace clean and complying with safety regulations
• Moving goods with a forklift truck
• Active participation in shift transfers and work meetings

What do we ask of you?

• Minimum LBO working and thinking level
• Training towards VAPRO (Basic operator) is a plus
• Forklift certificate or willing to obtain it
• Some experience as an operator or in a similar production environment
• You have a good command of the Dutch language (oral and written)
• Technically savvy, quality-oriented and safety-conscious
• Flexible and willing to work in a 3-shift operation work

Working hours & location

You work in a 3-shift schedule Monday to Friday. The work location is easily accessible by private transport. You will receive exact information during the introductory interview.
