Job context

Within the Maintenance department, we distinguish three main tasks: mechanics work in the field of electronics, mechanics and process automation (Delta V and PLC control), engineering and project implementation under the supervision of the department, and administrative and warehouse work (with the SAP system). The department ensures that the site remains safe and continuously operational. The team consists of a manager maintenance and projects, a supervisor, several mechanics (WTB, electrical and all-round) and a warehouse manager.

External contractors are used for certain complex work such as control engineering. Engineering and further automation are partly outsourced to external specialists. Technical drawings are prepared and managed by the manager maintenance and projects, sometimes with the help of external contractors. The executive functions focus mainly on breakdowns, overhauls, modifications, instrumentation and building management. Within these functions, 1 week per month is rotated within production (operations) as a breakdown engineer, providing support to the entire production department. The supervisor is responsible for electrical installations.
