Are you handy, technically minded and do you enjoy working on installations that need to function properly? Do you have experience with ventilation systems, air ducts or HVAC? If so, this role is ideal for you as Ventilation Engineer suit you well.

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated ventilation engineer for a client in the Limburg region. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and modifying ventilation systems in houses, apartment blocks, commercial premises, non-residential buildings and renovation projects.

As a ventilation fitter, you’ll ensure that air ducts, grilles, valves, extraction systems and ventilation units are installed correctly and operate effectively. You’ll visit various sites and regularly work alongside other fitters, installers or construction workers. One day you might be fitting air ducts on a new project, and the next you might be carrying out maintenance, replacement or modification work on existing ventilation systems.

This is a job for someone who enjoys hands-on work. You mustn’t be afraid to get your hands dirty, but you do need to work neatly and with care. Ventilation work requires technical understanding, precision and a sense of responsibility. You understand that a system must not only be installed, but must also function properly and safely.

At Valento Jobs, we look beyond just your CV. Of course, experience is a bonus, but what matters most to us is what you can actually do in practice. Are you resourceful, keen to learn and someone a client can rely on? If so, we’d love to meet you.

What will you do?

As a ventilation engineer, you will carry out installation, maintenance and modification work in the field of ventilation and air-conditioning technology. You will ensure that the work is carried out neatly, safely and in accordance with the agreed specifications.

Your duties will include:

  • Installation of ventilation ducts, grilles, valves and extraction systems.
  • Installing and connecting ventilation units.
  • Carrying out maintenance on ventilation systems.
  • Replacing or modifying existing installations.
  • Reading and following drawings or work instructions.
  • Check that the systems are working properly.
  • Working alongside colleagues and other professionals on site.
  • Leaving the workplace tidy and safe.

You’ll be working on various projects in Limburg and the surrounding area. Sometimes you’ll be working on new-build projects, and sometimes on existing buildings or renovation projects. That variety makes the work practical and interesting.

Who are you?

You are a skilled and technically-minded professional with experience in assembly, installation engineering, ventilation or air-conditioning. You work to a high standard, think practically and are a good team player.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience as a ventilation fitter, assembly worker or installation engineer.
  • Has technical know-how and is good with tools.
  • Can work independently, but also works well as part of a team.
  • Works safely, accurately and neatly.
  • Has no problem working at different locations.
  • Communicates clearly with colleagues and clients.
  • Holds a Category B driving licence.
  • Preferably holds VCA certification, or is willing to obtain it through us.

If you don’t yet have several years’ experience as a ventilation fitter, but do have experience in installation, construction or engineering, then that’s certainly something we can discuss. With the right attitude, you can learn the trade on the job.

What do you get?

You’ll have a varied role in the field of ventilation and air-conditioning engineering. You’ll work on projects in Limburg and the surrounding area, with clear agreements and personal contact.

You can count on:

  • A salary between €2,800 and €3,700 gross per month, depending on experience, level of autonomy and the client.
  • Terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement and the hirer’s remuneration scheme.
  • Work for a reliable client in the engineering sector.
  • A variety of projects in ventilation, refurbishment and installation work.
  • Work in Limburg and the surrounding area.
  • A practical role in which your hard work delivers tangible results.
  • Opportunity to develop your skills further in the field of climate control technology.
  • Opportunity for long-term employment subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Personalised support from Valento Jobs.
  • A dedicated point of contact who knows who you are and what you’re capable of.
  • Clear agreements on pay, the workplace and duties.

Are you already an experienced ventilation engineer who can work independently on site and is familiar with various types of installations? If so, a higher salary is negotiable, depending on your experience and the client.
