We are looking for a refrigeration engineer on behalf of a client in the Limburg region to carry out service, maintenance and installation work in the field of refrigeration technology. You will be working on refrigeration systems at businesses, commercial buildings, shops, hospitality venues, production facilities or other technical sites.

As a refrigeration engineer, you know that no two days are the same. One day you might be carrying out maintenance on a refrigeration system, the next you might be troubleshooting a fault, replacing parts or helping to install a new system. You assess the situation carefully, contribute ideas for solutions and ensure that the system is working safely and efficiently again.

In this role, you will often be working independently on site. This requires technical expertise, a sense of responsibility and clear communication. Not only are you handy with tools, but you are also someone who treats customers, users and colleagues with respect. You understand that, whilst on site, you are the client’s public face.

As a refrigeration engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and installation work in the field of refrigeration technology. You will ensure that systems continue to operate reliably, safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshooting faults in refrigeration systems.
• Installing, replacing or modifying parts.
• Inspection, testing and commissioning of installations.
• Work on pipework, compressors, evaporators and control systems.
• Identifying issues and contributing ideas for solutions.
• Communicate politely with customers, users and colleagues.
• Leaving the workplace safe and tidy.

Depending on your experience, you’ll either work independently or alongside an experienced colleague. If you already have extensive experience in refrigeration technology, you’ll be given the opportunity to tackle faults and maintenance tasks on your own.

You are a skilled technician with experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning, installation or maintenance work. You work to a high standard, think practically and take responsibility for your work.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience as a refrigeration engineer, service engineer or refrigeration technician.
• Has knowledge of refrigeration systems.
• Can identify and resolve faults.
• Works safely, accurately and independently.
• Communicates in a customer-friendly manner on site.
• Holds a Category B driving licence.
• Preferably holds VCA certification, or is willing to obtain it through us.
• Preferably holds an F-gas certificate.

Are you an experienced refrigeration engineer who can troubleshoot faults independently, deal with customers politely and hold the relevant qualifications? If so, a higher salary is negotiable, depending on your experience and the client.
