What does the trajectory look like?
In the first 3 months, you will get a good idea of the work. We will make sure you obtain the necessary papers such as VCA, BHV, BEI and VIAG VOP. During this period, we will find out whether this job suits you and matches your ambitions.
If after this it turns out that you like this work then we will start training Low voltage distribution engineer. You will combine working and learning here. During this period, you will attend school one day a week and work in practice four days a week.
A practical trainer (also known as an apprentice) will be assigned to you. You will be in touch with him about your work on the job and your progress at school. Your mentor will make sure that you go out every day with a team of colleagues to do the work outside. This work builds up step by step. You start as a groundwork worker and together we keep building it up. What you learn at school can be put into practice almost immediately.
After you have successfully completed the basic training at MBO level 2, you can continue learning to obtain MBO levels 3 and 4 as well. This will allow you to work independently as a 1st Mechanic.
