Are you someone who likes to roll up your sleeves, keep track of things and make sure everything ends up in the right place? We are looking for Logistics Staff for various clients in Limburg.

Through Valento Jobs, you can connect with great companies in Limburg. These include manufacturing firms, warehouses, engineering firms, wholesalers, construction-related companies and logistics organisations offering a wide range of roles. As we have an extensive network, we’ll work with you to find the role that best suits your experience, commitment and working style.

Whether you have experience in warehouse work, order picking, loading and unloading, stock control, forklift truck operation, reach truck operation, freight forwarding or production logistics: we’d be happy to discuss the right next step with you.

At Valento Jobs, we don’t just look at what’s on paper. Above all, we look at how you work. Because a good logistics employee is someone who gets things done, keeps track of everything and ensures that colleagues can rely on you.

What will you do?

As a Logistics Assistant, you will ensure that goods, materials and products are correctly received, checked, stored, picked and dispatched. You will keep the warehouse or workshop running smoothly and ensure that everything is kept tidy and runs according to plan.

Your duties may vary depending on the client. Sometimes you’ll mainly be working in the warehouse handling incoming and outgoing goods. At other times, you’ll be picking orders, packing, carrying out stock-takes, loading and unloading, or preparing materials for production, assembly or transport.

You will be working alongside colleagues, drivers, warehouse staff, planners, production staff and foremen. It is important that you work accurately, handle materials safely and ensure the workplace remains tidy.

Depending on your experience and the client, your duties may include, amongst other things:

  • Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods.
  • Order picking and preparing orders.
  • Loading and unloading lorries.
  • Checking quantities, delivery notes and items.
  • Moving goods using a forklift, reach truck, hand pallet truck or EPT.
  • Restocking, counting and managing stock.
  • Packaging, labelling and preparing products for dispatch.
  • Preparing materials for production, assembly or transport.
  • Reporting any discrepancies, damage or missing goods.
  • Keep the warehouse, shelving and work area tidy.
  • Work in accordance with safety regulations and internal agreements.
  • Working alongside colleagues from the warehouse, production, planning and transport departments.
  • Contributing ideas on a practical and efficient way of working.

So you’re not just moving boxes around. You ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly and that your colleagues can carry on with the right supplies at the right time.

Who are you?

You are someone who enjoys hands-on work and knows how to get things done. You like clear instructions, work neatly and believe it is important that agreements are honoured. You feel at home in a warehouse, workshop, production environment or logistics setting.

You don’t necessarily need years of experience. Perhaps you’ve been working in logistics for some time. Perhaps you come from a background in manufacturing, construction, transport, engineering, retail, delivery or another hands-on role, and you’d like to make the move into logistics.

What’s important is that you’re reliable, arrive on time and work safely. You can take on tasks independently, but you also work well as part of a team. You contribute ideas, get things done and ensure the workplace stays tidy.

For example, you might recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have experience as a logistics assistant, warehouse assistant, order picker, production worker or in a similar role.
  • You work neatly, safely and as agreed.
  • You are well suited to physical work.
  • You like to keep things organised and appreciate it when everything is in its proper place.
  • You’re a practical person and you get things done.
  • You can work independently, but you also work well as part of a team.
  • You are reliable, flexible and keep your word.
  • Ideally, you will have experience operating a forklift, reach truck, EPT or hand pallet truck.
  • A forklift or reach truck certificate would be an advantage, or you must be willing to obtain one.
  • A Category B driving licence and your own transport would be an advantage.
  • You have a sufficient command of the Dutch language to fully understand instructions, health and safety guidelines and administrative matters.

Whether your main strengths lie in order picking, forklift operation, warehouse management, loading and unloading, or production logistics: we’ll work with you to find where your skills are best utilised.

What do you get?

As a Logistics Assistant, Valento Jobs will give you access to a range of opportunities within Limburg. Because we work with a wide variety of clients, we can carefully assess which workplace and role are best suited to you.

Perhaps you prefer working in a well-organised warehouse with a regular team of colleagues. Or perhaps a production environment, a wholesale business or a logistics workplace offering more variety would suit you better. Together, we’ll discuss what’s important to you and which opportunities match your preferences.

What to expect:
