Are you a plumber who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in your craftsmanship and is proud of pipework and bathroom fittings that are installed to a high standard and look neat and tidy? We are looking for Plumbers / Bathroom Fitters for various clients in Limburg.

Through Valento Jobs, you’ll be put in touch with leading installation firms, construction companies, renovation firms, maintenance companies and technical service providers in Limburg. As we have an extensive network, we’ll work with you to identify which workplace best suits your experience, expertise and working style.

Whether you have experience with water pipes, drainage, sewerage, plumbing, bathrooms, central heating pipework, renovation, new-build projects or maintenance: we’d be happy to work with you to find the right next step.

At Valento Jobs, we don’t just look at what’s on paper. Above all, we look at what you can do in practice. Because good plumbing work is characterised by craftsmanship, neat installation, practical insight and work that simply has to be done properly.

What will you do?

As a Plumber / Sanitary Engineer, you will work on various projects in the fields of installation engineering, construction, renovation and maintenance. This includes installing, fitting, replacing and repairing pipework, drains, sewerage systems and sanitary installations.

Your duties may vary depending on the client. One day you might be working on a complete bathroom or toilet unit; the next, you might be working on water pipes, drainage pipes, connections, taps, washbasins, shower installations, toilets or pipework in new-build and renovation projects.

You will work to drawings, work instructions or guidance from a foreman, site manager or project manager. In doing so, you will pay attention to dimensions, connections, watertightness, drainage, safety and a neat finish. You understand that installation work must not only be technically sound, but must also be left in a tidy condition.

Depending on your experience and the client, your duties may include, amongst other things:

  • Installation, fitting and replacement of water pipes, drainage pipes and sewerage systems.
  • Installation and connection of sanitary ware, toilets, washbasins, showers, taps and bathrooms.
  • Carrying out plumbing work in new-build, renovation, maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • Carrying out work on pipework for water, gas, central heating or drainage.
  • Checking connections, leaks, gradients and flow.
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance and restoration work.
  • Fitting brackets, connectors, taps, siphons and fittings.
  • Reading and applying drawings, diagrams or work instructions.
  • Working alongside fellow fitters, carpenters, tilers, site managers and other tradespeople.
  • Ensuring installations, pipework and connection points are finished to a high standard.
  • Working in accordance with safety regulations and technical guidelines.
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe workplace.
  • Helping to come up with practical solutions on site.

So you’re not just laying pipes or fitting bathroom fixtures. You make sure everything works properly, is connected correctly and is ready for everyday use.

Who are you?

You are a skilled tradesperson who enjoys working with your hands and knows what constitutes a good installation. You work to a high standard, think practically and consider it important that your work is carried out to a high standard and is reliable.

You don’t necessarily need to have all your qualifications to hand. We consider experience, commitment and craftsmanship to be just as important. Perhaps you’ve been working as a plumber for years. Perhaps you have a background in installation engineering, sanitary fitting, renovation, maintenance, central heating engineering or construction, and you’d like to get involved in exciting projects in the region.

What’s important is that you honour your commitments, work safely and treat materials, tools and customers on site with respect. You can work independently, but also function well as part of a team. You contribute ideas when things on site don’t go to plan as per the drawings and get on with the job when there’s work to be done.

For example, you might recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have experience as a plumber, W-certified installation engineer, sanitary engineer, central heating engineer or in a similar role.
  • You have experience with pipework, plumbing, drainage, sewerage, bathrooms or maintenance.
  • You can read drawings or work instructions, or are willing to learn how to do so.
  • You work neatly, safely and as agreed.
  • You have an eye for connections, gradients, leaks, dimensions and finishes.
  • You are proficient in using hand tools and installation materials.
  • You have a practical mindset and contribute ideas on site.
  • You can work independently, but you also work well as part of a team.
  • You are customer-friendly, reliable and presentable.
  • A VCA certificate is an advantage, or you must be willing to obtain one.
  • A Category B driving licence is a bonus and is important for some roles.
  • You’re at home in the field of installation engineering and speak the language of the trade.

Whether your main areas of expertise are plumbing, pipework, renovation, maintenance, new-build projects or all-round installation work: we’ll work with you to identify where your skills are best utilised.
