Are you someone who knows how to get stuck in, enjoys physical work and doesn’t mind a bit of hard graft? We’re looking for Demolition Workers for various clients in the construction industry.

Through Valento Jobs, you can connect with leading construction and demolition companies in Limburg. These include regional contractors, renovation firms, maintenance companies and specialist demolition firms working on a wide range of projects. As we have an extensive network within the construction sector, we’ll work with you to find the workplace that best suits your experience, commitment and working style.

Whether you have experience in renovation demolition, complete demolition, stripping, manual demolition or site clearance: we’d be happy to work with you to find the right next step.

At Valento Jobs, we don’t just look at what’s on paper. Above all, we look at how you work. Because in the demolition industry, you need people who get things done, work safely and know what it means to get stuck in.

What will you do?

As a Demolition Worker, you’ll be involved in various demolition tasks within the construction industry. This includes stripping out homes, commercial premises or buildings, and removing walls, ceilings, floors, window frames, installations or other components that need to make way for new work.

Your duties may vary from project to project. One day you might be working on a renovation project where a building needs to be carefully stripped back. The next, you might be carrying out heavier demolition work, chopping and breaking up materials, clearing up, disposing of waste or preparing materials for further processing.

You will be working with hand tools, power tools and, occasionally, small machinery. Safety is a priority. You must look after yourself, your colleagues and the environment in which you work. You must also ensure that waste and materials are properly sorted and disposed of as agreed.

Depending on your experience and the client, your duties may include, amongst other things:

  • Carrying out manual demolition work on construction and renovation projects.
  • Stripping out homes, commercial premises, shops or other buildings.
  • Removal of walls, ceilings, floors, doors, window frames and panelling.
  • Carrying out chiselling, breaking, sawing and drilling work.
  • Dismantling of components, materials and structures.
  • Clearing away and disposing of rubble and demolition waste.
  • Separating waste streams and keeping the workplace tidy.
  • Support with renovation, refurbishment, maintenance or complete demolition.
  • Working with hand tools, power tools and small equipment.
  • Identifying unsafe situations and working in accordance with safety rules.
  • Working alongside colleagues, foremen, site managers and other tradespeople.
  • Contributing ideas on a practical and safe approach to the work.

So you’re not just demolishing things for the sake of it. You ensure that a project can move forward in a proper, safe and well-prepared manner. Your work is often the first step towards something new.

Who are you?

You’re the sort of person who likes to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You’re physically strong, practical and not afraid of hard work. You know that demolition is more than just breaking things: it has to be done safely, in a controlled manner and tidily.

You don’t necessarily need to have all the right qualifications. We consider experience, commitment and reliability to be just as important. Perhaps you’ve been working as a demolition worker for years. Perhaps you have a background in construction, civil engineering, renovation, assembly, logistics or manufacturing and would like to get started in demolition. If you’re motivated and know how to get things done, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s important is that you arrive on time, stick to your commitments and are able to work well as part of a team. You listen to instructions, contribute ideas on site and ensure that your workspace remains tidy and safe.

For example, you might recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have experience as a demolition worker, site cleaner, renovation worker, construction worker or in a similar role.
  • You are physically fit and don’t mind hard work.
  • You work safely, tidily and as agreed.
  • You are proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
  • You think practically and get things done.
  • You can work independently, but you also work well as part of a team.
  • You are reliable, flexible and keep your word.
  • You should ideally hold a VCA certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
  • A Category B driving licence and your own transport would be an advantage.
  • You feel right at home on a building site and speak the language of the trade.

Whether your experience lies mainly in strip-out work, renovation demolition, complete demolition, clearance work or general construction: we’ll work with you to identify where your skills are best utilised.

What do you get?

As a demolition worker, Valento Jobs gives you access to a range of opportunities within the construction and demolition sector in Limburg. Because we work with a wide variety of clients, we’re well placed to identify which workplaces and projects are right for you.

Perhaps you prefer working on renovation projects that require precision demolition. Or perhaps heavier demolition work or varied work across different building sites suits you better. Together, we’ll discuss what’s important to you and which opportunities match your preferences.
